About the artist:
Tammy is a South Carolina native who loves being a Grammy, gardener, and getting creative in the kitchen and with home decor. Her paintings are inspired by her southern heritage and all five of her senses. Most of the time you will find her painting in her studio with an eclectic playlist of music in the background and a beautiful view of the upstate of South Carolina out of her window.
She has painted with many mediums over the years, but her favorites are watercolor and most recently oil. She gravitates toward bold colors and texture using a palette knife. A looser style has developed and Tammy now loves to merge watercolor techniques and oil paint. She also enjoys teaching others to stretch their imagination while painting. Tammy endeavors to learn something new every time she paints, enjoy the journey of the process, and inspire others along the way.
